The Zen Cat series is an ongoing exploration of harmony, adaptability, and the fusion of history with contemporary culture. Each piece in this collection reimagines the beloved feline—an animal often associated with independence and mystery—by placing it in unexpected settings that blend ancient traditions with modern elements.

Dressed in intricate Chinese armor while interacting with modern transportation—such as bicycles, motorcycles, or other contemporary vehicles—Zen Cat embodies a balance between past and present, discipline and playfulness. These works challenge conventional boundaries, weaving cultural heritage into everyday life while celebrating the resilience and spirit of cats.

With four pieces currently in the series and more to come, my vision is to expand Zen Cat into a broader narrative—one that continues to explore how tradition and modernity coexist in a world where history is never truly left behind but instead reinterpreted in new and meaningful ways.
